£27,517.98 per annum increasing to £28,068.34 from 1st May
37.5 hours per week
Office based 5 days per week working between core office hours 08:00am and 05:00pm Monday to Friday
About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Transactions Team to provide a service driven focus supporting the team and the wider business in a fast-paced environment. This includes working in partnership with both internal and external teams to be accountable for monitoring and assisting the finance function.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality front-line finance service ensuring all deadlines are met within our objectives for delivering payments to suppliers on time.
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, the Finance Assistant will help to deliver our accounts payable function for a key area of our organisation:
Key responsibilities
* To process transactions on Accounts Payable
* Assist with cash and banking
* Assist with accruals and month-end commitments
* To ensure that processes and duties are documented fully and are kept up to date.
* To provide full support to other Trident departments and Local authorities in processing Council Tax
About You
* Experience of working on Accounts Payable is essential
* Experience of keeping accurate and compliant records
* Excellent communication skills
* Good knowledge of Excel and other MS packages and a sound knowledge of Finance and reporting Systems. Full training on Trident Systems will be provided
* Able to contribute as a team player
* Organise own time and prioritise workloads, achieving timetables and deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective liaison with internal and external partners.
