This is an opportunity to join an experienced statutory housing solutions service within Knowsley. Ensuring everyone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness due to experiencing Domestic Abuse has access to meaningful help tailored to the individual needs of the household.
You will work in the Housing Solutions Service and assist clients who are survivors of domestic abuse and are experiencing homelessness. The purpose of the Domestic Abuse Advocate will be to provide clients with tailored support to alleviate homelessness and assist in preventing homelessness re-occurring.
You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a statutory homeless service or housing service and have a BTEC National Certificate in housing or the equivalent. The successful applicant will need to show a drive and commitment to preventing homelessness, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. A willingness to learn, adapt, and lead change will also be required.
