* Drive the growth and development of the café to profitability and wide community
* engagement
* Utilise and further develop policies and procedures for day to day running of café cash/stock/menu etc
* Make links with young people and relevant agencies
* Oversee operational management of the cafe
* Recruit, train and enable volunteers in the cafe
* Ensure all aspects of health and safety have been considered.
* Ensure the safeguarding and working with young people.
* Tie in project with the values and mission of St Lukes
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Proven experience as a restaurant/cafe manager
* Entrepreneurial skills to develop the business
* Exceptionally good front of house manner
* A hands-on approach with a very keen eye for detail, both cleanliness and presentation.Barista coffee trained
* Excellent people, communication and supervisory skills
* An understanding of required compliance (Food hygiene, COSHH & HACCP)
Other requirements:
* Two referees
* Enhanced DBS required
