As a key part of our Front of House team, you’ll play a vital role in creating a first-class experience for all visitors, clients, and colleagues. As the first point of contact for all visitors, you’ll play a key role in delivering a professional and welcoming experience, ensuring reception and meeting areas are always presented to the highest standard. This is a hands-on, versatile role that goes beyond traditional front desk duties — from greeting clients and setting up meeting rooms, to supporting with admin tasks, managing supplies, coordinating contractor visits, restocking fridges, and keeping our basement area organised. Responsible for replenishing stocks in all kitchens and toilets. Be vigilant, ensuring the office is safe and secure for staff during working hours and report any issues to FM Manager. Ensure reception and all meeting rooms remain in an acceptable condition and ready for use Support Southport staff meetings with lunch ordering and refreshments Regular sweep of the building during the working day to ensure open offices and rooms are tidy for use and to remove any discarded waste items. Supporting L&D, Events and Legal Teams with collab and training room preparation and bookings for Inductions, training and social events – including lunch ordering and refreshments. General support for L&D and Events teams on ad hoc basis. Replenish Marketing posters Assist with cover for Post duties as and when required. Undertake First Aid and Fire Marshall training Essential Skills and Experience: Front of House/Concierge Experience: Previous experience in a similar front-facing role with admin responsibilities. Professional Demeanour: Friendly, polite, and well-presented at all times to create a welcoming environment. Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with a reliable and flexible approach to daily tasks. Self-Motivated & Resilient: Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and using your own initiative. Strong Communication: Confident verbal and written communicator with a good command of English. Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle difficult situations or clients with professionalism and empathy. IT Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word to an intermediate level – for maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and creating forms. Meeting Room Setup: Capable of preparing and resetting meeting rooms, including moving furniture and replenishing supplies. Facilities Coordination: Skilled in managing supplies, coordinating contractor visits, and supporting general building operations. Manual Handling & Organisation: Comfortable with tasks such as restocking fridges and keeping storage areas like the basement well-organised.
