Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heating Engineer to join our team. As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for installing heating systems in residential HMO buildings. Your expertise in power tools, mechanical knowledge, and commercial driving will be essential in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of heating systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, assemble, and plumb heating systems according to specifications
2. Perform welding and carpentry tasks as needed for system installation or repair
3. Operate heavy lifting equipment to transport and position heating system components
4. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
5. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Experience:
1. Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role
2. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for installation and repair tasks
3. Strong mechanical knowledge of heating systems and their components
4. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
5. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating system requirements
Requirements:
1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
2. Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues
3. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repair work
