Residential Support Worker
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £26k to £28k DOE
Provision: EBD, 3/4 Bed Residential Children’s Home.
Children's Age Range: 7 to 17 (on entry)
As a Residential Support Worker, you will nurture and support the children and young people in your care, with all aspects of day-to-day tasks and activities. You will have a passion for helping vulnerable young people achieve positive outcomes and reach their potential. If you enjoy working with children and possess the resilience to work with challenging behaviours and have a nurturing and supportive approach to your practice, we want to hear from you! Full induction, training, and support are provided by the provider's in-house learning and development team, including the QCF level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will have the following:
* The desire and passion to safeguard, motivate, and inspire the young people in your care
* Lead, demonstrate, and share best practice to other practitioners in your home, working closely alongside Psychologists and the specialist therapeutic services team.
* The characteristics and personality to handle challenging behaviour effectively and professionally
* Shift work including weekends, evenings & sleep-in duties
* Full driving license is desirable but not essential.
* Minimum age 21
