About the Role
As Executive Assistant to the Bishop of Bradwell, you will play a key part in developing and fostering the bishop's relationships with clergy, churches, and other stakeholders across the diocese. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the bishop, ensuring the smooth operation of their office and daily activities.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing the bishop's calendar, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing correspondence and reports, and providing general administrative assistance as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the bishop, including managing their calendar, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing correspondence and reports.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with clergy, churches, and other stakeholders across the diocese.
* Assist with the preparation of presentations, speeches, and other materials as required.
* Coordinate meetings and events, including booking venues and catering.
* Provide general administrative assistance as needed, including data entry, filing, and other tasks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high level of administrative experience, preferably in a similar role or industry.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft reports, letters, and other materials as required.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
