We are looking for dedicated individuals in Chelmsford and surrounding areas to provide academic tutoring for students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and GCSE, with a particular focus on supporting those who are facing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging, and tailored lessons that meet the individual learning needs of students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and GCSE.
2. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to make lessons interactive and accessible to all students.
3. Support and guide students who are dealing with mental health issues, ensuring their well-being is prioritized alongside their education.
4. Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment where students feel safe, understood, and motivated to succeed.
5. Collaborate with parents, carers, and school staff to develop strategies for academic and emotional support.
6. Assess the academic strengths and weaknesses of each student and create personalized learning plans to support their progress.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience working with secondary school-aged students, specifically KS3 and GCSE.
