Our client is a successful and established hospitality group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Job you will be Doing
1. Plan and implement a sales plan for the hire of spaces, working to clear targets
2. Manage sales and bookings, deal with inquiries, following up with potential clients, meeting clients and promoting offers
3. Determine rates and prepare proposals to meet and exceed the client's expectations
4. Capture the client's vision and effectively convey and deliver this
5. Nurture and build relationships with current and potential clients to identify new business opportunities
6. Identify new markets and business opportunities in the local and national market through research
7. Provide quick and timely responses, and immediate communication to develop professional long-term business relations
8. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement plans effective for enhancing sales and overall company performance
9. Research to gather information regarding the market, trends, potential sales leads, and opportunities, compile and analyse
10. Organise/be actively involved in sales meetings to discuss activities and future plans
11. Attend networking events to promote and solicit new business
12. Have full product knowledge of the facilities offered at all venues
13. Cross sell all the estate, maximising revenue streams in all areas
14. Ensure the provision of proper aftercare sales support and service to clients
About You
1. Previous experience in a business development manager role
2. Have a passion for excellent service and enjoy working in professional surroundings
3. Demonstrate a hands-on approach and an outstanding personality
4. Be friendly and welcoming to customers to create a great atmosphere
5. Be confident and self-motivated to demonstrate a passionate commitment to the business
