Purpose
The Stock Controller forms part of the Supply Chain function that aims to provide best practice procurement, supply and stock management activities for Arrow. The role plays a vital part in ensuring that all administration tasks, reports and system accuracy are kept up to date and accurate throughout.
Reports to: Solutions Manager
Skills/Attributes Required
1. Strong numerical and interpersonal skills
2. Accurate data recording
3. Ability to develop a working knowledge of departmental procedures
4. Good computer skills
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Ability to work under pressure
7. The ability to work as part of a team and independently using initiative
8. Excellent time management and organisational skills
9. Ability to check quality documentation
Education/Experience Required
1. Excellent Word and Excel Skills and preferably with working knowledge of SAP Business One
Primary Responsibilities
1. Ensuring accurate stock management and records
2. Issues request for the purchase of Stock in a timely manner based on stock requests and processing stock movements on in house system
3. Responsible for expediting orders
4. Ensuring order confirmation accuracies
5. Receipt of deliveries and cross-referencing of delivery notes ensuring accuracy
6. Ensuring component/raw material returns are processed and recorded
7. Adherence to company health & safety procedures
8. Communication with Purchasing Manager to ensure sufficient stock levels
9. Manage supplier performance
