About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Teacher to join our vibrant community in Ealing. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons that support the holistic development of each child in the Reception class.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
3. Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their potential.
4. Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
6. Implement and uphold the school's policies and procedures, including those related to behavior management and safeguarding.
7. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
8. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
10. Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
11. Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
14. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
15. Specialism in a particular area of early childhood education (, literacy, numeracy).
16. Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
17. Familiarity with educational technology and its application in the classroom.
