Job Title: Mobile Cleaner Driver – 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern


📍 Location: Portsmouth (Multiple Sites across Hampshire)

🕔 Hours: Average 24 hours per week (Up to 12 hours paid overtime available)

📅 Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off

⏰ Start Time: 5:00 AM

📄 Contract Type: Part-Time - Paid £12.80-13ph

We’re currently looking for a proactive and dependable Mobile Cleaner to join our dedicated mobile team, working on a rotating 4-on-4-off shift pattern. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team.



The Role:

As a Mobile Cleaner, you’ll be travelling to and working across client sites in the South of England, ensuring each location is cleaned to the highest standards. You’ll start your day by collecting your company van at 5:00 AM, complete your cleaning route, and return the van at the end of your shift.

Your day will be varied, from routine cleaning to responding to reactive tasks at short notice. No two days will be the same, so flexibility, initiative, and a can do attitude are essential.



Key Responsibilities:

•Travel to and carry out cleaning duties at multiple sites across the region

•Maintain high standards of cleanliness in line with company and client expectations

•Follow detailed cleaning schedules and health & safety protocols

•Operate company provided cleaning equipment and materials safely

•Communicate regularly with the scheduling team for updates or reassignments

•Be on-call during your shift for urgent or reactive cleaning needs

•Ensure the company van is maintained and returned in good condition daily



About You:

We’re not just looking for someone who can just clean, we want someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable, and understands the importance of being the face of our business on site.

Essential:


•Full UK driving licence

•Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised

•Flexibility to travel and adapt to different sites and client needs

•Excellent timekeeping and communication skills

•Willingness to work early mornings and occasional longer shifts

Desirable:

•Previous professional cleaning experience

•Experience using cleaning machinery (e.g. scrubber dryers, buffers)
