Job Introduction
We have exciting opportunities for Project Managers to join us in the delivery of our high-profile Estate Regeneration and New Homes for Neighbourhoods programmes.
About the Role
Brighton & Hove is a city facing a housing crisis, with over 8,000 households on the housing register and a serious shortage of affordable homes. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience in managing and delivering housing and/or regeneration projects to join our dynamic team.
The team supports the council in developing a programme of estate regeneration, looking at opportunities to redevelop homes that are no longer fit for purpose. This is an exciting opportunity to potentially re-develop some areas of the city and re-imagine our neighbourhoods.
Additionally, the team delivers the innovative 'New Homes for Neighbourhoods' programme, with an ambition to build thousands of new council homes. The programme has successfully completed 17 new build projects, with more in planning or at other stages in the pipeline.
You will work with colleagues across the council, our partners, and a range of key stakeholders in the city to deliver your projects.
Additional Benefits
Benefits for this post include 28 days annual leave (increasing to 30 days after 5 years of Local Government service), membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme, and valuable training opportunities for continuing professional development.
Application Process
Please read our 'Apply for a job at the council' pages carefully. They provide guidance on completing your application and information on the interview process. You will need to upload your CV and answers to shortlisting questions, which are crucial for assessing whether you meet the essential requirements for the role.
Closing Date: 2 February 2025.
