Reporting to the Head of Operations (Australia), and working closely with global subject matter experts, you’ll manage, monitor and continually improve all aspects of food and beverage service, standards and commercial performance at Virgin Active. You’ll lead the creation of a strong food safety culture, the delivery of extraordinary member experiences and the meticulous upkeep of operational standards.
In a nutshell -
* You’ll translate and guide the execution of Virgin Active’s overall food and beverage strategy across our quick-service restaurants and cafes, working with internal and external stakeholders to optimise its offering
* You’ll determine the resources required to meet project schedules and goals
* You’ll develop, improve and implement operational processes and service standards
* You’ll recruit, develop, train and evaluate team members in line with brand standards to ensure efficient operations
* You’ll review cost and service structures, productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve planned commercial goals
* You’ll partner with club management teams to review attendance data, identify user trends and assess operational capacity to ensure optimised performance of food and beverage offering.
* You’ll coordinate sales and promotional activities of stores, to ensure performance targets are achieved
* You’ll audit, monitor and manage food safety, operational and brand standard compliance in line with applicable policies, procedures and laws
* You’ll establish, nurture and manage relationships with key industry partners and suppliers.
* You’ll communicate and present results and recommendations for ongoing improvements
All about you
* You have 5+ years of relevant leadership experience and relevant tertiary qualifications flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule and can readily obtain a clear Working with Children Check (if required).
* You have aligned experience. You’re an effective manager with strong leadership and motivational ability. You’re comfortable managing budgets and thrive on exceeding performance targets.
* You are people-focused. You get a kick out of delivering seamless customer experiences. You’re happy to share your point of view, and open to changing your mind.
