About the Role As a Governance Assistant, you will lead in providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth functioning of Curo’s governance framework. Reporting to the Governance Manager, you will engage with senior leaders, support key governance processes, and uphold regulatory compliance to drive the success of our governance strategy. What You’ll be Doing Board & Committee Support: Service senior boards and committees by preparing agendas, meeting packs, and minutes. Follow up on matters arising and maintain the annual governance planner. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain statutory and governance registers. Coordinate responses for statutory and regulatory returns. Manage legal documents and ensure compliance with declarations of interest, gifts, and hospitality policies. Stakeholder Engagement: Support Board and Committee Member onboarding, inductions, appraisals, and development programs. Assist in resident engagement governance activities and events. What You’ll Bring Membership or study towards ICSA (or equivalent qualification) Desirable or at least 3 years of governance experience Essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
