Red Star 3D are seeking talented CHARACTER ANIMATORS to work on our upcoming production of a BBC Christmas Special for Magic Light Pictures. The job: Animate dramatic character performances, both dialogue and pantomime. Animate action shots that are body mechanics heavy. Animate vehicles, props, cameras and other scene elements as necessary Must have: Strong understanding of animation principals Basic technical animation skills Two years production experience (minimum) Experience with Maya Nice to have: Confident animating on 2s Good sketching and drawing skills Acting/improv skills Contract term: Feb - July 2025 Due to the way our projects are funded you MUST be physically based in the UK to be eligible for this position.
