An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council Library Service as part of a wider Growth, Enterprise and Environment Directorate. We are recruiting to the following vacancy:
Libraries Team Leader (full-time)
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to be part of a newly developed and evolving Library Service and is interested in providing an innovative and outstanding service to the community.
As a key leader of the frontline delivery team you will be responsible for supporting and managing an innovative, high quality, customer focussed service in a small number of libraries within the borough of Redcar and Cleveland. You will support and manage a staff team to develop and deliver excellent customer care and an important range of services which respond to resident and community needs, increasing visitor numbers and memberships.
You will have experience of working and leading within front facing services, ideally within a Libraries or customer service environment. You should be a team player but also self-motivated to fulfil the requirement of helping develop the service and staff further.
A requirement to manage and work flexibly to a rota at different service locations within the borough of Redcar and Cleveland will be part of the role. You will also be required to work Saturdays on a rota basis.
