About the role: To take ownership of Motability Foundation’s full recruitment strategy, ensuring a best practice approach to securing new talent, progressing and retaining existing talent internally, partner with the Executive Team on strategic projects, change and decision making related to recruitment and EDI matters. To act as the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, responsible for the implementation, delivery and growth of the EDI strategy. To take on delegated responsibility for the Head of HR in respect of meetings and decision making during planned and unplanned periods of leave. This is a Maternity Leave cover contract. What you will be doing: Manage and develop the recruitment strategy to ensure the organisation is an employer of choice for both new and existing talent. Manage and oversee the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion agenda, serving as the EDI subject matter expert. Lead the group of EDI champions and provide support to EDI Executive Sponsors, produce internal and external content throughout the year and influence change in policies to support the EDI strategy. Management of and oversee of Motability Foundation’s onboarding process, seeking improvements and redesign of processes. Take a lead on Talent and EDI focused HR Projects, including accreditations, process reviews and design. To design and deliver bite size training sessions on recruitment and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion best practice. Present key metrics to the Executive team including, retention figures, gender pay gap reporting, and internal career progression. Provide and present regular and proactive updates to the Executive team and Hiring Managers on the progress of recruitment campaigns. Oversee recruitment of direct hires across all departments within the business, significantly reducing agency use and spend. Further build an inclusive and diverse culture and workforce while hiring, developing, and retaining talent. Leverage data and define key performance indicators by creating metrics, measures and clear outcomes that help show progress and drive accountability. To work in partnership / collaboration with HR colleagues and outside of HR to deliver improvement initiatives. Take ownership and development responsibility of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Lead the talent team. Provide support and development opportunities to both the Talent Partner and Talent Acquisition Administrator. Conduct regular 121’s with you team and manage performance when required. About you: Must haves: Experienced Talent Acquisition Manager with internal experience. A passion for and knowledge of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion agendas. Proactive and solution focused, with strong interpersonal skills; verbal and non-verbal. Organised and structured. Sound knowledge and experience of various recruiting platforms. Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation. Strong IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience of using HR systems, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
