Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday) Contract Type: Full Time/Fixed term until 31-03-2026 Location: Ty Graddfa This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Community Resource Team. We pay an attractive salary of £37,938 - £40,476 and offer access to training and development opportunities. We have a fixed term opportunity available for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working as part of a busy Community Resource Team in the Caerphilly borough. An Occupational Therapist (OT) is an integral part of the day to day work of our team and it can be both rewarding and challenging. The OT role can be diverse as you could be supporting an individual to regain their independence at home, or providing moving and handling advice and equipment to our care staff. The postholder can also be expected to support the team regarding equipment, adaptations and care management activities. For the role, we ask that you have: A Diploma or degree in Occupational therapy. Knowledge of Social Services and Well-Being Act (Wales) 2014, Manual Handling Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act. Experience of undertaking assessments that focus on the individual and the personal outcomes that they wish to achieve. A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meeting and visit clients.
