Applications are invited for the above Administrative Assistant vacancy within our locality based social work team in Coatbridge.
If successful in your application, you will join a team who are focussed on providing high standards of support which provides a smooth and effective administrative provision to a range of different service delivery areas within the locality and our internal and external partners.
We are looking for applicants who have a flexible and proactive approach to changing workloads and can demonstrate they have the relevant skills, experience and qualities to work within a fast paced and changing work environment. As a good communicator, you should be able to use your own initiative to problem solve and have the confidence to manage, motivate and support staff undertake their jobs, ensuring delivery on deadlines and accuracy and quality of work.
You should have a background working in administration together with experience working with a range of IT and digital platforms used within the council. Applicants must also be aware of, and able to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of their work. Possession of a HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent is desirable.
This post is temporary for a period until April 2026.
