Registered Manager - New Children's Home
Location: Headington, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + Benefits
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts)
Residents: Four young people - EBD.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead the opening and operations of a stunning new home in Oxfordshire. With the support of an experienced consultancy during the initial setup, you'll have the tools and freedom to make your mark and establish a truly exceptional environment for children and young people.
About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you'll oversee a home accommodating up to four young people with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the day-to-day management of the home and its team.
2. Ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and achieving excellence in care.
3. Creating and implementing tailored care plans to meet the needs of young people.
4. Overseeing safeguarding practices, budgets, resources, and the home's operations.
5. Developing a high-performing, compassionate team, supported by a deputy manager and senior support workers.

About You
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
1. Proven success with Ofsted inspections, achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' ratings.
2. At least 2 years' experience in a role relevant to residential child care within the last 5 years.
3. Level 3/4 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent, with a commitment to completing the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
4. In-depth knowledge of The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, safeguarding frameworks, and SCCIF.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
1. Knowledge of Dyadic Developmental Practice and PACE principles.
2. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
3. Strong leadership, emotional resilience, and excellent communication skills.
4. Enthusiasm, creativity, and a child-centred approach to care.
