Production Engineer
Are you an experienced Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Cost Engineer or perhaps a time served machinist looking for the next stage in your career? Do you you have an understanding of tooling design, production methods and cost estimating?
I am working with a precision engineering company established in 2003, specialising in sub-contract milling, turning, presswork projects to the defence communications and medical sectors.
About the Role:
Due to organic growth they are now looking to add new talent to the team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist or manufacturing engineer looking to transition into a production engineering role.
Key Responsibilities:
Quoting work for customers and providing accurate cost estimations.
Designing tooling and developing efficient production methods.
Progressing customer orders and ensuring timely delivery.
Liaising with shop floor staff to ensure smooth production processes.What We're Looking For:
Apprentice trained or a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles.
Strong knowledge of milling, turning, and press work processes is essential.
Knowledge of Tricorn MRP (advantageous).
Experience with AutoCAD (advantageous).
Proficient in computer skills and familiarity with production planning tools.
