Clinical Nurse Specialist for Pain Management
Band 6
Job overview
We currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Pain Management Service. Our Integrated Pain structure allows us to meet the needs of both staff and patients, ensuring it is fit for the future for both acute and persistent pain needs.
We are looking for an individual to join our team who will assist in covering all aspects of pain management within the Trust. You will be required to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and be able to work autonomously, making decisions under pressure.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to organise your own workload, managing challenging situations while providing clinical support and guidance in a professional manner. Effective communication is essential to create strong professional relationships with various members of multidisciplinary teams within the hospital environment, patients/relatives, and external agencies.
Working for our organisation
Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality care to our patients. This role is key in ensuring we deliver our agreed performance plans safely and effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your existing skills and knowledge and be part of a team dedicated to service delivery and improving the environment for patients within Lancashire Teaching Trust.
Our Trust provides a comprehensive range of specialist tertiary services including cancer, renal, plastics and burns, neurosciences, and specialist mobility and rehabilitation, alongside our elective and emergency services.
