Role: Commercial Lead – Central London – Up To £130,000 + Travel + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus
The successful candidate will be leading a £55m cut and carve refurbishment scheme in Central London including new M&E infrastructure, structural alterations and additional floors. This is a 2 year project.
Responsibilities:
* Understanding of disputes resolution including options, structure, techniques, experts e
* Managing project through PCSA agreement, including negotiation of terms and contract.
* Management of site based commercial team, including senior surveyors and project level surveyors.
* Co-ordination of buying, accounts, production control/planning, supply chain management & procurement techniques, estimating & surveying functions.
* Management and reporting of Commercial Risk and Opportunity.
* Management of disallowed cost
* Provide commercial input to Buildability and Value Engineering reviews.
* Review tenders & cost data.
* Co-ordinate the commercial team to ensure programme issues are identified and actioned.
* Manage the preparation and articulation of the monthly CVR and associated commercial reports.
* Manage the feedback of commercial data to Planning, Estimating, Marketing and Sales
* Lead commercial aspects with Customer and stakeholders.
* Establish client supply chain requirements & advise on alternative forms of contract & procurement arrangements.
* Reporting directly into the Commercial Director.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with a main contractor on heavy refurbishment schemes.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Able to operate as a commercial lead on major schemes.
* Good all-round understanding across Civils/Structures/Externals and Facades/MEP/Fitout.
* Clear leadership track record
