Hospital Director - Multisite Cave Veterinary Specialists, Somerset & City Vets, Exeter Location: Somerset & Exeter Reporting to: Regional Operations Director We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Hospital Director to lead both Cave Veterinary Specialists (a leading referral hospital in Somerset) and City Vets Exeter (a high-performing primary care practice). This multisite role offers the opportunity to oversee two prestigious brands, with responsibility for a £14m P&L and a team of approximately 200 professionals. As Hospital Director, you will drive strategic and operational excellence, ensuring outstanding clinical care, financial performance, and team engagement across both locations. You will lead Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs) at each site, integrating and transforming their operations while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Drive excellence in clinical care, operational efficiency, and business growth across both sites. People Management: Inspire, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. Business Performance: Deliver financial and operational objectives, managing P&L and ensuring efficiency. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams, marketing, HR, and external partners to enhance service delivery. Compliance & Safety: Maintain high standards of health and safety, facility management, and clinical governance.
