The role is customer focused dealing with customer enquiries and answering calls both internally and externally. The role is heavily administration based, face paced and target driven. The position involves dealing with a variety of operational functions such as creating and amending Council Tax liability, applying exemptions, discounts whilst also focusing on prompt collection. Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy is key. About you You will be required to work as part of a team and together you will coordinate and prioritise the workload to ensure that all tasks are completed on time. You will deliver a professional service to our customers and will adhere to the Council s policies and procedures. You will take ownership of certain tasks and will work to deliver on targets set whilst maintaining a high quality of work. You will also be required to take responsibility for decisions you make and know when to seek guidance.
