Job Description
The EverClean Service Engineer will participate as a valuable member of the Operations Team at Greensea IQ to support the EverClean hull maintenance service. The Service Engineer will help supervise Over The Horizon (OTH) missions, manage ROVs, coordinate logistics, and assist with QA and testing efforts as well as field operations. This position will work directly with the operations, engineering, product management, logistics, and QA staff.
Responsibilities
1. Participate as a multidisciplinary engineering team member.
2. Support the Over the Horizon service, as well as participate in Field Operations as needed.
3. Assist Test Engineers with software and hardware testing and evaluation.
4. Perform accurate note taking and data logging.
5. Participate in the QA/QC process of software and hardware.
6. Provide Operations, Logistics, and Facilities support as needed.
7. All other responsibilities as reasonably assigned.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred (Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).
2. Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
3. Proficient with the safe and proper operation of basic electrical test equipment, electronics tools, and shop tools.
4. Proficient at troubleshooting and problem-solving.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
6. Excellent oral and written communication with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders from management to technical staff.
