Introduction:
Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is currently hiring a Finance Business Partner (Business Unit Integrator). The role is supporting our Digital & Future Programs team and can be based out of Gosport or Bristol, UK.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the output of the programme’s management information and financial reporting.
2. The key point of contact for all programme delivery requirements and outputs
3. Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders from each function that supports the programme.
4. Lead the programme Estimate at Complete (EAC) process in collaboration with cross-functional teams
5. Oversight of a small Financial Operations team to support the overall work scope
6. Provide regular reporting and insight to the Finance Senior Leadership Team.
7. Responsibility for financial reporting throughout the project life cycle (includes implementation and execution through to contract closure)
8. Ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasting process
9. Responsible for preparation and ownership of the programme Long Range Business Plan.
10. Preparation of the monthly OREC (Orders Revenue Earnings and Cash) forecast, including the management of key risks and opportunities. Support operational teams to identify and implement mitigation plans driving profitability
11. Support consistency and standardization across the wider BDUK Finance team, ensuring compliance to Boeing standards and requirements
Preferred Skills and Experience:
12. Experience of leading an operations-facing finance team, acting as a Business Partner to key Operational Managers, Leaders and Executives
13. A self-starter, comfortable with challenging established processes and driving improvements
14. Financial & Commercial Business Acumen
15. Strong Written and Oral Communication skills
16. Experience of driving and delivering Business Results
17. Qualified Accountant
18. Experience of SAP/CSPR systems would be preferable
19. Background in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance or Project Accounting/controlling preferred
