A great opportunity is available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy, friendly finance team in Poole, on a part time basis. (Approx 20 hours per week)
The Company
Seymour John are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Poole, who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team, on a part time basis.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
* Credit Control including paying invoices and chasing debtors
* Reconciling company accounts
* Managing records
* Performing data entry
* Identifying and resolving errors in financial records
* Providing support and reporting to Finance Manager
* Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phone calls, scanning etc.
* Handling communications with customers, vendors and colleagues via phone and email
* process transactions, journals and updating ledgers
* preparing basic financial reports
* Assisting with audits, fact checks and resolving discrepancies
* Taking expenses
* Posting financial data and accounts
* Maintaining and improving the organisations accounting process
Personal Profile
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office packages, and possess strong communication skills. This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly finance team within a well-established business in Poole.
