IT Finance & Contracts Manager
Location: Trafford Town Hall, Talbot Road, Manchester, M32 0TH
Salary range: Band 9 (£42,708 to £45,718)
Working Pattern: Full time (36.25 hours)
Contract type: Permanent
About the Role
As the IT Finance and Contracts Manager, you will have excellent business management skills and experience, be a great communicator and negotiator taking a lead on our procurement procedures. You will support the contract negotiation process and ongoing supplier management to ensure contracts are fulfilled and that our contract register is maintained. A key requirement for the role will be to successfully manage the business function of the service, ensuring efficient administration processes, monitoring our revenue and capital budgets, and working with finance colleagues to report on the Service’s financial position. You will ensure that the correct recharges are made to internal/external services for timely income collection and be responsible for a small team overseeing these tasks.
About you
You will be a strong business manager with experience in managing significant budgets, supplier contracts, and staff. You will implement, manage, and deliver the Supplier/Contract Management and Financial Management function in line with ITIL standards and processes (ITIL training will be provided). Your style and approach will reflect our values and behaviours, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and effective outcomes.
