Behaviour Mentor Location: Wandsworth, SW18 Hours: 8:30 AM - 4.00 PM Full-Time | Term Time Only Pay rate: £105-£115 per day Long Term Futures are working alongside an Outstanding-rated primary school in the heart of Wandsworth (SW18) to appoint a confident and experienced Behaviour Mentor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEMH needs and is confident managing behaviour in a nurturing, primary school environment. This long-term role is full-time and perfect for someone with previous experience working in primary schools or with children with social, emotional and mental health needs. What You'll Be Doing: Working closely with children in KS1 and KS2 to provide behaviour mentoring and emotional support Supporting class teachers by helping pupils remain engaged and regulated during lessons Running targeted interventions and mentoring sessions to help children develop social skills, self-regulation and resilience Assisting with managing transitions, de-escalating behaviour, and implementing support plans Encouraging inclusion, emotional confidence and a sense of routine for children struggling with classroom lifeWhat We're Looking For: Experience working in primary education or with children who have SEMH needs Strong behaviour management strategies and a nurturing, patient approach Ability to build trust and strong relationships with young learners A background in youth work, mentoring, psychology or similar is advantageous A resilient, proactive and caring individual who thrives in a team settingLocation & Travel: Located in Wandsworth, SW18, within walking distance of Wandsworth Town Easily accessible by public transport: Wandsworth Town Station (Southwestern Railway) Clapham Junction, East Putney and Southfields stations nearby Bus routes Parking may be availableWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
