About the Role A dynamic and results-driven Account Manager who thrives on achieving targets (new business, contract renewals & where possible new logos) whilst embracing our core values. Responsibilities Develop and execute clear sales plans Meet and exceed targets, aligning strategies with customer needs and company goals. Build and nurture strong relationships From technical, architecture, network teams through to CIO / CTO, fostering trust and collaboration with customers at all levels. Building the same relationships internally, across Service Delivery, Technical teams, fellow sales and wider Kerv. Deliver excellence in customer presentations Understanding customer specific needs and challenges, shaping your message to offer tailored, value- driven solutions whilst aligning with Kerv Connect in-house services, solutions and skills. Stay ahead of industry trends Demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and sharing insights on technology advancements that could impact clients’ businesses. This may take the form of QBR and technical road-map sessions. Achieve and surpass sales targets Consistently delivering against KPIs while contributing to a culture of positivity, teamwork, and doing the right thing. Lead and execute major deals, coordinating resources across multiple internal teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless, high-impact solutions for customers. Understand and engage with customer roadmaps, budgets, and business priorities Ensuring that solutions align with their strategic and financial objectives whilst being sentient to Kerv Connect in-house solutions and capabilities Effectively manage and grow the sales pipeline Ensuring that opportunities are tracked, advanced, and converted to successful deals in line with targets. Meticulous CRM management Ensuring high quality, accurate data that support sales reporting & forecasting. Holistic Account Management. Act as the key account manager for large enterprise customers, working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. Develop new opportunities while maintaining a customer-first mindset, building future, ensuring long-term satisfaction and continued success. Develop New Customer Logos Opportunity to develop new leads, from the initial introduction and qualification phase through to presenting solutions and winning new clients. Promote the Kerv Group Understand the propositions of our six practices and articulate the broader Kerv story to customers. As their Account Manager, identify opportunities where other practices’ services can add value, promoting cross-practice solutions when it makes sense to support customer success. Your Knowledge and Experience Track Record in Managing Large Enterprise Accounts Proven ability to manage large enterprise accounts (1000 employees and £250 million turnover) with multiple stakeholders Proven Track Record of Major Sales Success Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and closing significant sales opportunities exceeding £500k in revenue. Average deal size expectation: £50k Industry Experience in Networks and/or Network Security Services – 5 years in Account management role for Large Enterprise Consultative Sales Approach Demonstrates a consultative and solutions-oriented sales style, building trusted partnerships by understanding customer needs and aligning pre-defined solutions with business objectives. Highly Skilled Negotiator who achieves win-win outcomes Expertise in aligning Technical Solutions to Business requirements Strong Commercial Awareness & Business Acumen In-depth Understanding of Sales Processes Comprehensive knowledge of the sales lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through to closing, with the ability to manage complex sales processes. Networking & Communication Skills From technical stakeholders to C-level executives. Skilled at communicating complex ideas simply and effectively.
