You will be required to maintain mandatory training requirements and develop knowledge of autism in order to demonstrate continuous professional development.
Develop an understanding of and implement low arousal support following studio 3 principles, focusing on reducing restraint and achieving Scottish Autism’s aspiration of equivalent and hold or be willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Build meaningful relationships and create personalised support plans.
* Encourage independence and community involvement.
* Support activities like swimming, scenic walks, social outings, and more.
* Work across Housing Support and Outreach services in a varied and fulfilling role.

Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required
* Develop an understanding of and implement low arousal support following studio 3 principles, focusing on reducing restraint and achieving Scottish Autism’s aspiration of equivalent and hold or be willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
* Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG).
* Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
