We're Aegon. We're a company of ambitious, positive problem-solvers who get things done. We're a team, not a group of individuals. Collaboration is our life force and we believe it's our duty to leave things better than we find them.
We help people live their best lives. We help them with the big stuff, for the moments that matter: Pensions, Savings, Investments. At Aegon, we strive in creating a diverse organisation that plays a meaningful role in driving greater equity, inclusion and belonging.
Our Technology Management team is a newly evolving department who will be integral to the business operations of our Technology function, encompassing areas such as Vendor Management, First Line Risk and Controls, Budget Management, and technology-owned change portfolios. This is an exciting time to help build the department, move forward modern principles and implement efficiencies.
As a Technology Management Analyst (TMA), you'll be a key part of our delivery team, working both before projects and programmes are defined and throughout their lifecycle. You'll facilitate collaboration within teams and across the business to support delivery. If you have experience in building frameworks, data analysis, SLA/KPI management, and a passion for automating and streamlining Technology reporting, this role is for you. As part of this role, you will:
1. Drive Requirements: Work with Technology, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather and document reporting requirements. Support the Technology Management team by explaining and detailing reporting obligations and collaborate closely with agile development and BAU teams to remove blockers.
2. Define Requirements: Develop departmental documentation such as budget reporting, finance models, and performance metrics. Use data to underpin business needs and define their value, contribute to prioritising the Technology Backlog, and drive agreement on scope, risks, and dependencies. Foster an agile mindset in the delivery team to deliver business value early without compromising on risk.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
* Strong analytical skills with experience working with data and reporting.
* Well-versed in ServiceNow SPM, PowerBI, and advanced Excel.
* Good understanding of Technology Standards and Frameworks such as ISTM, IT4IT, and COBIT.
* Collaborative attitude and experience in helping teams deliver user-focused digital products and services.
* Proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, and Teams as productivity and collaboration tools.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to different situations.
What’s in it for you?
* A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%
* A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance
* 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)
We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our employees live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant and online GP appointments.
Transformation change is never easy and if this excites you as much as it does us, we would love to hear from you.
