If you’re someone with a background in marketing or events looking to take the next step in your career, or if you have experience in the legal sector and want to bring your expertise into a marketing-focused role, we’d love to hear from you. This position offers plenty of room for growth, with the chance to lead key projects independently and make your mark in a dynamic and evolving firm.
Duties include:
In this role, you’ll provide essential support to the Marketing Manager while managing a variety of exciting tasks and projects:
* Content Creation – Create, edit, and update marketing materials, client communications, and promotional content.
* Event Coordination – Support and coordinate networking events, seminars, and webinars from start to finish.
* Email Campaigns – Craft and distribute engaging newsletters and event invitations using tools such as Mailchimp.
* Market Research – Undertake research tasks to support business development and prepare insightful reports.
* Website & Social Media – Update content across the company website and social media platforms to ensure our digital presence is always fresh and engaging.
* Networking & Promotion – Promote the firm’s services and ethos at events and through collaborations with sponsors, and charities.
* Supplier Liaison – Engage with external suppliers, including our digital agency, graphic designer, and call centre provider.
* Administrative Support – Assist the Marketing Manager with administrative tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with excellent organisational skills, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll be a friendly, approachable team player who’s capable of motivating others to get involved in marketing initiatives, from events to sponsorships and charitable projects.
Key Attributes for Success in This Role:
* The ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.
* Confidence using Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience with Mailchimp or Tikit (or similar systems) is a bonus – but if you’re proficient in using digital tools generally, we’ll happily teach you what you need to know!
Why Join Us?
This is an exciting chance to join a forward-thinking, supportive firm. You’ll have the freedom to grow your skills, lead on some key projects, and shape the firm’s marketing plans alongside an organised and collaborative Marketing Manager.
Based in Wokingham with some travel to other offices and locations required from time to time.
