Your Role
As a Director, your focus will depend ondriving excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring outstanding project delivery.
Operations Focus:
* Overseeing a diverse project portfolio.
* Managing large-scale projects with accuracy and efficiency.
* Taking ownership of financial performance and P&L responsibility for projects.
* Identifying market opportunities and driving business growth.
* Leading and contributing to competitive tendering processes.
* Strengthening client relationships through proactive engagement, market insight, and outstanding service delivery.
Technical Focus:
* Ensuring projects adhere to best practices and managing design discipline interfaces.
* Overseeing technical governance and assurance, aligned with the Project Management Framework.
* Ensuring consistency and quality across all design deliverables.
* Driving innovation and technical development within the team.
* Providing expert guidance to clients on complex engineering challenges.
* Enhancing the companys reputation through technical leadership and thought leadership.
What You Will Bring
* To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Proven ability to operate in multi-disciplinary environments across Scotland.
* Strong client insight and exceptional skills in sales, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
* The confidence to influence strategic decision-making and make sound commercial judgments.
* Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with experience leading teams and conducting presentations/workshops.
* The ability to engage and influence key stakeholders, gaining buy-in for new concepts.
* Experience delivering projects in a multi-site organisation.
* A track record of leadership, supporting business growth and contributing to strategic objectives.
* Experience with tendering processes, demonstrating high professional capability.
* Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (preferred).
