Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility required)
Salary: £28,250 per annum (higher for experienced applicants)

We are now seeking a committed and proactive Mental Health Team Leader to join our growing team in Sheffield.
Role Overview
As a Team Leader you will support the Mental Health Recovery Workers on your team, monitoring and supervising them to ensure service provision is effective. You will also be responsible for ensuring everyone adheres to the policies and procedures of the organisation to ensure it meets its aims and objectives. You will also support us on our journey to becoming CQC registered.
Please note this is not a care worker role and does not involve intimate/personal care. A Sponsorship Visa is not available for this role. A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential. Relevant social care experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
There is a strong focus on administrative tasks within the role and it's very important that applicants are comfortable completing tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard.
Leadership:
* Monitoring and supervising Mental Health Recovery Workers (weekly).
* Ensuring support provision complies with organisational policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Liaising with the Registered Service Manager; providing regular updates and attending team meetings as required.
Team Support:
* Assisting staff with complex service user issues, incidents, and complaints.
* Providing cover for staff absences and shortages.
* Delivering shadowing and on-the-job training for new staff.
Office Duty:
* Writing pen portraits with the service users.
* Responding to service user enquiries.
* Providing practical support and advice to service users.
Effective and Responsive Support Provision:
* Delivering support that meets identified individual needs.
* Ensuring support aligns with goals and actions in service users’ support plans.
* Regularly reviewing and updating support plans and risk assessments.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all support provided.
* Completing all documentation in line with policies and procedures.
Multi-agency Working:
* Liaising and working collaboratively with external organisations and stakeholders.
* Making referrals to other services and agencies as appropriate.
What We’re Looking For:

* Ideally previous team leader experience.
* Understanding compliance, organisational processes and implementing policies and procedures, using initiative to overcome challenges.
* Understanding of safeguarding and risk mitigation.
* Able to demonstrate effective administrative skills – maintain and update records and complete support documentation in a timely manner.
* Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour and diffusing difficult situations.
* Able to demonstrate effective communication skills – inc. disseminating information across teams, contributing to staff meetings.
* Experience of liaising with external organisations and attending multi-agency meetings.
* Able to build rapport, work with empathy and professionalism.
