About the role The role sits within our Fashion Merchandise Planning team, responsible for commercial merchandising activities across planning, trading, and pricing, focusing on the product lifecycle & profitable management of stock through the business. Working towards ambition KPI targets, and leading a team with ambition, are essential parts of the role. Key responsibilities include; Develop and manage Merchandise Financial Plan for multiple categories to support strategic objectives and commercial budgets. Construct annual commercial budgets to deliver business objectives. Ensure effective stock flow through the business for your department/s of accountability, through robust planning. Create stock profile for your relevant department to support strategic and commercial objective, whilst managing ambitious availability targets for customers. Manage effective pricing approach throughout the product lifecycle to ensure volume and margin maintained, whilst stocks managed, aligning to the trading plan. Optimise product lifecycle including replenishment with utilisation of the Forecasting application. Working in collaboration with logistics, operations, and sourcing, establish opportunity to increase speed to market and customer experience. Control stock levels based on weekly sales, stock & intake (WSSI). Key Relationships External Working with our portfolio of international brands and suppliers, the ideal candidate must be confident conducting meetings online and face to face, delivering performance updates and managing stock flow from brands & suppliers, into our business. Attention to detail and accuracy on all aspects of the role are essential.
