Machine Operator - Dartford
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Machine Operator to join a Metal / Production Engineering Department within a leading electronics manufacturing company. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in optimizing production process, ensuring product quality and contibuting to continuous improvement.
The primary role will be to provide day to day support to the Electronic and Metalwork manufacturing departments.
The role for production operative will also include:
* Optimising and improving the production processes for quality and productivity.
* Operating machinery for metal works
* Problem solving as necessary including liaising with equipment suppliers.
* Training employees in Production areas, as necessary.
* Ensuring all machines are routinely serviced and maintained.
* Carrying out machine programming, producing production operating procedures, maintaining operators training records and providing productivity reports.
* Ensuring all applicable procedures and regulations for health and safety are complied with.
* The successful person will be expected to gain knowledge on all the production processes and procedures and to train other members of staff as needs are identified.
* The Departments and Processes included, but not limited to, are:
* Wave soldering, Selective Soldering and Control Panel Assembly
* Metal Fabrication, Powder Coating and Print Shop.
An interest in the Manufacturing would be preferred. Training will be provided for all areas of Manufacturing; this may be on site or external. The successful applicant will report to the Production Engineering Manager but will work closely with the Production Engineering Team.
