Operational Oversight : Manage day-to-day operations for the Net Zero North region, implementing company policies, driving necessary changes, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Leadership and Development : Mentor and guide the Operations Management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement to achieve operational objectives. Financial Oversight : Oversee departmental budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting, ensuring efficient financial management across operations. Training and Development : Support ongoing training for senior team members, establishing clear development paths to enhance skills and career growth. Performance Management : Ensure departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) align with company objectives and track performance accordingly. Reporting and Quality Control : Deliver weekly progress updates to the Head of Net Zero and Directors, including site audit summaries and performance insights. Quality Assurance : Implement rigorous quality controls to assess contractor performance and maintain high standards across all projects. Contractor Relations : Build and maintain a strong network of reliable contractors to ensure project continuity and workforce diversity. Required Experience and Skills Senior Management Experience : Extensive experience in a senior role within a similar industry. Team Leadership : Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams to reach high standards. Technical Knowledge : Solid understanding of heating systems and installation processes. Technical Proficiency : Competency in Google and Microsoft platforms (especially Excel). Commercial Acumen : Strong grasp of financial and contract management. Relationship Building : Ability to foster strong connections with contractors and suppliers. Eco Industry Experience : Background in eco-focused industries is an advantage.
