CNC Setter/Operator – Mill Turn (Weekend Shift) Location: Leicester, LE3 Shift Pattern: 35 Hours – Friday to Sunday, 06:00 to 18:00 (with a 20-minute unpaid break at 12:00) Salary: £23.20 per hour (Including Shift Allowance) Overtime payments Paid after 35 basic hours have been worked at T x 1.3 of your basic hourly rate for the first 12 hours, thereafter T x 1.5 will be paid. About the Role We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator – Mill Turn to work in a leading aerospace and automotive precision manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting up and operating 3-5 Axis CNC Mill Turn machines, ensuring top-quality output, and contributing to a highly skilled, collaborative team. This is a weekend shift role with competitive pay and excellent working conditions. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Mill Turn machines (3-5 Axis) in line with procedures Read and understand CNC code to set up and operate machines efficiently Ensure correct machine settings, including datum setting, tool length, and offsets Collaborate with the team to maximize machine utilization and meet production goals Follow structured manufacturing plans and adhere to SOPs and company documentation Ensure quality output and perform Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on machines Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, Vernier calipers, CMM, etc.) to ensure accuracy What We’re Looking For Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar CNC role within the aerospace or automotive industry Training: Apprentice-trained preferred, or demonstrable relevant experience Strong understanding of CNC operations, machine set up, and production timelines Experience working with SOPs and technical documentation Why Join?
