We are working with the charity to help find a brilliant new Major Donor Manager, who will have the opportunity to grow the major donor pipeline by identifying and nurturing new donors to help drive the fantastic work being done by Autistica.
Job Title: Major Donor Manager
Organisation: Autistica (Research and Campaigning Charity)
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Location: London (Hybrid)
Responsible To: Head of Major Giving

Responsibilities:
• Work with the Head of Major Gifts to increase the value of the major donor pipeline through new business prospecting and developing that pipeline to secure income from new donors.
• Cultivate a small pool of existing donors to maximise income and networking opportunities from this group.
• Partner closely with Head of Major Gifts and the Research and Science Team to deliver compelling donor briefings and leverage the charity’s storytelling potential to inspire and secure new supporters.
• Develop high quality funding propositions for meetings and creative reports in line with donor requirements.
• Develop and implement creative solicitation plans to maximise donor engagement and income, delivering against a £500k+ team target which is largely to be developed from new business opportunities.
Skills/Experience Required:
• Proven experience in the charity sector prospecting and securing 5-6 figure gifts.
• Innovative relationship builder, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with prospects and inspire them to give.
• Creative and strategic thinker with the ambition to grow and diversify the major gifts pipeline.
• Proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated, with a commitment to achieving income targets.
• Familiarity with fundraising platforms such as Raiser's Edge.
