Flexible Hours and Rotas – Based on a weekly rota issued in advance. Start times are typically 8:30am, or 8am when on ops. Finish times are usually between 5:30pm and 6:30pm on a standard day. You’ll have one full day off each week and there’s no overnight on-call, but you’ll be on call until 9pm once a week (with a 1pm start on these days). Shared Weekend Rota – One full weekend in 5, with consults on Saturday and Sunday mornings and on-call duties until 5pm. Weekend Recovery – Enjoy Mondays and Fridays off the week following a duty weekend. Your Role: As a Veterinary Surgeon with us, you'll be responsible for: Performing consultations and medical treatments. Carrying out surgical procedures, including general surgery and neutering. Participating in a shared weekend rota (1 in 5), with consults on Saturday and Sunday mornings and on-call duties until 5pm. Supervising and supporting other staff members when needed. Maintaining high standards in line with RCVS and practice protocols. What We're Looking For: We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. While some large animal experience would be beneficial, it’s not essential. You should be a true team player, ready to collaborate and contribute in a supportive environment.
