Job Summary
We require an experienced and dedicated herdsperson on a 320-cow unit near Belper, Derbyshire.
Job Skills
The role would entail working alongside the owners, taking responsibility for many aspects of the daily herd management, undertaking milkings, general herd health and welfare, foot trimming and fertility tasks alongside general farm work when required. You will be a senior member of an established team, other staff, and night milkers.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, show dedication to the herd and will be seeking to take on responsibility. Foot trimming qualification and experience is essential. An AI certificate would be a bonus, although the herd is bred by external contractors.

In return for your efforts, we offer a highly competitive package with excellent time off, plus a beautiful, well-appointed, large 3-bed bungalow on site, free of rent and council tax, close to local amenities and the cities of Derby & Nottingham and the Peak District National Park.
