The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic Head of Sales to lead our commercial efforts across key markets. As Head of Sales, you’ll spearhead revenue growth, initially targeting non-domestic buildings (universities, public estates, offices) to secure contracts for our Predict www.optimise-ai.com/predict and Optimise www.optimise-ai.com/optimise tools. As our housing solutions become market ready you will create the sales strategy and team to execute.
This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to play a key part in a growing tech company.
Responsibilities
· Develop and execute the sales strategy across priority markets
· Generate and convert a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities
· Lead on customer engagement, product demos, and contract negotiation
· Build and lead a small sales team in line with growth targets
· Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging and drive inbound activity
· Manage sales performance using tools and metrics to ensure consistent delivery
· Represent the company at industry events and build brand awareness
About You
Essential:
· 5+ years B2B sales in built environment tech e.g. Proptech or Contech
· Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
· Strong communication and consultative selling skills
· Familiarity with longer sales cycles and structured procurement processes
· Comfortable operating in a startup or scale-up environment
· Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially focused
· Knowledge of sustainability, energy efficiency, and the application of digital technologies in the built environment
Desirable:
· Experience in selling tech solutions such as Digital Twin, BIM, IoT, AI/ML
· Exposure to public sector or housing markets
· Experience managing or mentoring sales team members
· Understanding of CRM systems and sales tools
