We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Head of RE to join our growing school community in Ealing. About the Role: Providing strategic leadership and direction for the RE department, ensuring a stimulating and well-rounded curriculum that aligns with the school's vision and national guidelines. Leading the development of engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11). Recruiting, mentoring and appraising RE teachers, fostering a supportive and collaborative departmental environment. Contributing to the school's wider enrichment programme, potentially developing and leading RE-related initiatives. Building strong relationships with students, staff and parents/carers, fostering a culture of respect and open dialogue. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified and experienced RE teacher with a proven track record of leadership and innovation. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for exploring religious and philosophical questions with sensitivity and depth. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team of teachers. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
