We are seeking an experienced Manager to be responsible for our Security Patrol & Response Team.
Our Mobile Patrol Teams provide various security services to customers across the Thames Valley, with most of the work undertaken in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire.
We have a team of twenty Patrol Officers and a fleet of eight vehicles that need management, supervision, and support to deliver our service effectively.
You will be responsible for:
* Ensuring all patrol routes are efficient and reviewed regularly
* Ensuring Patrol Officers are correctly trained, wear our uniform in line with company policy, are in possession of the required equipment, and keep our vehicle fleet in good condition
* Recruiting new Patrol Officers as required
* Appraising Patrol Officers on an annual basis
* Managing our patrol monitoring system and providing reports as and when required
* All aspects of customer liaison
* Undertaking surveys for new customers
* Collecting keys and erecting warning signs
* Quarterly key checks
* Developing additional opportunities in and outside your portfolio
* The planning and management of effective rosters to ensure contractual cover is in place at all times by suitably trained personnel
You will work closely with our Control Centre, based in High Wycombe, to ensure run sheets/work schedules are always up to date, amended where required, and that the Patrol and Response Team are functioning to the highest levels possible.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 – due to the nature of our industry and the role, there will always be a requirement to work other hours to ensure the activities of the business are met. This will require you to work late some days, arrive early, and work weekends where necessary.
We operate a duty manager rota where you will be the first point of contact for out-of-hours incidents that may require management or escalation. This will be required for one week every four weeks.
