Manchester Bierkeller is looking for a passionate Line Chef. The ideal chef will be vibrant and enthusiastic towards their work and have a genuine care for cooking.
As a line chef, you will be working alongside the Head Chef and engaging closely with the Management team. You will engage and work alongside our Chefs as part of a tight-knit team in an exciting, fast-moving environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining our high standard of service. Daily tasks include the day-to-day running of the kitchen, assisting with ordering, dry stock takes, and ensuring GP and standards are adhered to while complying with all diligence paper and electronic.
Job Duties:
* Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
* Follow recipes and have a genuine love for cooking
* Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
* A team player with plenty of energy who enjoys working as part of a close team
* Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
* Restock items as needed throughout the shift and prepare for busy days
* Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards including the use of Shield Compliance Centre

Experience:
* Chef: 1 year (preferred)
* Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (preferred)

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
