Salary up to £37,000\n\nLocation Holborn\n\nJob Title: Receptionist\n\nWe are seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist with a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our front desk and supporting day-to-day operations of our facility.\n\nJob Description\n\nDay-to-Day Management:\n\nReception Duties: Ensure all visitors and tenants are welcomed and supported with professionalism.\nBuilding Checks: Conduct regular inspections and report any maintenance or facility issues promptly. Follow up to ensure resolution.\nTenant Queries: Address tenant inquiries professionally and ensure timely responses.
Escalate urgent issues to the Building Manager when necessary.\nAdministrative Tasks: Handle administrative responsibilities related to property management, including accurate record-keeping.\nHealth & Safety: Ensure health & safety and emergency procedures are up-to-date. Take charge in emergencies in the Building Manager's absence.\nFacilities Management: Ensure the facilities are clean, safe, and functional for tenants and visitors.\nVendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance.\nEssential Services: Plan and coordinate essential services such as reception, maintenance, mail, cleaning, waste disposal, and recycling.\nCompliance: Assist the Building Manager in ensuring compliance with all current statutory legislation concerning health and safety and the environment.\nContractor Supervision: Instruct contractors on minor maintenance tasks as directed by the Building Manager.\nMaintenance Requests: Manage and track maintenance requests from reporting through to resolution, ensuring effective communication with suppliers and stakeholders.Person Specification\n\nExperience:\n\nPrevious reception experience is desirable.\nAbility to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.Skills & Competencies:\n\nStrong organisational and multitasking abilities.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nEffective problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to emergencies.\nIT proficiency (e.g., MS Office).Personal Attributes:\n\nProactive and self-motivated with a hands-on approach.\nAttention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.\nCustomer-focused attitude with strong stakeholder management skills.\nTeam player with the ability to work independently when needed. \n\nPlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
