Residential Conveyancing Secretary

We are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial support to our conveyancing fee earners. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in residential conveyancing, looking to work in a supportive and dynamic office environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide administrative support including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.
* Draft and proofread legal documents related to residential conveyancing transactions.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth communication and transaction progression.
* Open, maintain, and close client files in accordance with firm policies and legal requirements.
* Conduct property searches, submit land registry applications, and handle mortgage redemptions.
* Utilize case management systems to track and update the status of conveyancing transactions.
* Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a residential conveyancing role is essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal case management software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work collaboratively within a team.
